Domaine Matrot Meursault Charmes 1er Cru 2017
Les Charmes is considered the archetype of Meursault wines. It is a rich, round and powerful wine, a perfect accompaniment to calf’s sweetbread as well as fish, poultry and white meat with cream. You may drink it young within three to five years in order to enjoy the combination of fruit and unctuosity. It will take five to seven years for this wine, however, to develop all of its power and finesse.

Couleur

Straw yellow.

Parfum

The olfactory spectrum on the nose plays on delicate fruity notes, which recall the green apple and citrus fruit.

Saveur

In the mouth it is rich, dense, with an excellent structure. Closes with a persistent finish.

Accompagnements

It is a wine with a powerful structure, which therefore requires important dishes. Excellent with foie gras pâté, it goes very well with white meats and fish. To try it in an original combination, it is to be tasted with sweetbreads.
