A still red wine from Sicily, 13.5% ABV, produced by Firriato. 100% Cabernet Sauvignon. 0.75 L bottle, 2022 vintage. A Cabernet Sauvignon that expresses Firriato's passion and dedication to Sicilian viticulture. Firriato's strength has been its ability to interpret the ancient Sicilian winemaking tradition with a modern twist from the very beginning. Begun in 1984 in the Trapani countryside, at Baglio Sorìa, the adventure of Salvatore Gaetano and his wife Vinzia evolved rapidly, bringing the winery to the pinnacle of quality in the island's winemaking industry within a few years. The nose is captivated by the seductive aromas of cherries, blueberries, blackberries, and rhubarb, enveloped by warm hints of dark chocolate, juniper berries, and tobacco. A bouquet that only Cabernet Sauvignon can offer. Deep, deep ruby with a purplish edge. The red grape presents itself in a soft and captivating liquid form, made irresistible by fresh, velvety tannins that embrace a balanced acidity and a sensual flavor.

Firriato's strength is that it has been able to interpret, from the very beginning, the ancient Sicilian winemaking tradition in a modern key. Started in 1984 in the Trapani countryside, in Baglio Sorìa, the adventure of Salvatore Gaetano and his wife Vinzia evolved rapidly, taking the company to the top of the island's production quality in just a few years. Today, with more than three decades of experience and their daughter Irene working in the company, the philosophy has not changed and five more have been added to the original estate, creating a unique winemaking heritage with around 470 hectares under vine, no less than 34 labels and a total of 4.5 million bottles produced.

The company, nevertheless, is always projected towards the future and to the enhancement of the territory, in particular, at the moment, it is very focused with its efforts on the Etna area.
