Description
What kind of wine it is
Blanc etc by Didier Dagueneau is a still white wine that captures the essence of the Loire Valley. Made from Sauvignon Blanc grapes, it displays an aromatic profile characterised by delicate floral aromas and a distinct mineral streak. On the palate, it is vigorous, harmonious and savoury, offering a linear sip supported by a remarkable ageing potential, estimated between ten and fifteen years.
Where it comes from
The estate is located in the renowned French region of the Loire, a prime area for quality viticulture. Managed with a perfectionist vision by Benjamin and Charlotte, the winery covers twelve hectares cultivated with the utmost respect for the soil. This commitment is reflected in rigorous agricultural practices, notably the meticulous horse ploughing between the rows. This agronomic approach preserves the integrity of the land, resulting in a glass that expresses authentic quality.
How it is produced
Production is based on very low yields and the pursuit of full grape ripeness. The manual harvest is carried out in several passes to select each bunch at the ideal moment. Served at a temperature between 10 and 12°C, this white is the perfect pairing for fish dishes and cheese selections, enhancing the tasting experience with its harmonious and savoury character.
