Description

Still white wine from Alto Adige DOC, 13.5% ABV, produced by Tiefenbrunner. 100% Chardonnay. A wine that embodies the elegance and minerality of mountain Chardonnay. The vineyards are located south of Magrè and in Cortaccia, where the vines enjoy optimal exposure. Fermentation and aging for ten months: 50% in large oak barrels with regular batonnage, 25% in concrete barrels, and 25% with malolactic fermentation in tonneaux. After blending, the wine ages for another two months in concrete barrels, before being bottled and aged for five months in the bottle. The nose reveals balanced aromas of pineapple and banana, which pave the way for a characterful, well-structured palate that leaves a pleasantly salty note on the tongue.
