Pairings
After having abandoned the vineyard following the phylloxera crisis, Charles Sorine took over the exploitation of a few plots of vines in 1925.
When he died in 1946, his son Jean, with the help of his uncle Lucien Beauregard and then his wife Yvette, reconstituted the entire estate (6 hectares).
In 1973, he invested in the construction of a new vinification vat room in Santenay le Haut.
In 1987, Christian joined his father on the estate.
Now at the head of the estate, Christian has increased the surface area of the estate (12 hectares) as well as the marketing of bottled wine.
Emma joined him in 2009. Together, they have continued to develop the marketing, especially the sale in bottles on the French market and for export.
Lacking space in Santenay, Christian and Emma have restored a magnificent building in Cheilly-lès-Maranges, which includes a sales and tasting cellar and 15th and 18th century cellars, enabling all our wines to be matured in barrels. Read more
