Description
What kind of wine it is
Albert Boxler Alsace Gewürztraminer is an aromatic still white wine that presents a straw yellow colour enhanced by greenish highlights. On the nose, it offers a floral and spicy bouquet, with distinct notes of rose, saffron and black pepper. On the palate, it is soft and enveloping, supported by an elegant freshness that leads to a delicate finish. Its balanced structure makes it the ideal companion to enhance shellfish, white meats and vegetarian dishes.
Where it comes from
This Gewürztraminer originates in Niedermorschwihr, in the heart of Alsace, a renowned wine region in north-eastern France. In this particular geographical area, the soil and climate conditions allow the richness of the grape variety to be fully expressed. The Albert Boxler winery is committed to conveying an intense and recognisable character in the glass, typical of this terroir. The result is a faithful reflection of its Alsatian origin, characterised by a lively, clean and always composed sip.
How it is produced
Production follows a classic vinification process designed to preserve the natural aromatic qualities of the Gewürztraminer grape. The maturation process takes place in stainless steel tanks and oak barrels, a stage that encourages structural roundness while maintaining the precision of the aromas. This technical balance defines a harmonious flavour profile and ensures the wine has excellent ageing potential, allowing it to evolve gracefully over the years.
