Roberto Cipresso
Originally from Bassano del Grappa, he began his career as a winemaker in 1987 in Montalcino. In 1999, he founded Winemaking, a consulting group specializing in agronomy and oenology. In 2006, he was named "Best Italian Winemaker" at the "Oscar del Vino" awards. In 2007, he received the Luigi Veronelli Award as "Best Italian Food and Wine Writer." In 2009, Wine & Spirits declared the Achaval-Ferrer Winery, under his guidance, "Best Winery in the World." In 2015, he was celebrated among the top 10 oenologists in the Cult Oenologist ranking of the Merano Wine Festival.
