Description

What kind of wine it is

Patrizia Cadore Lugana Riserva is a still white wine that enhances the characteristics of Trebbiano di Lugana grapes, also known as Turbiana. As a Lugana Riserva, this wine presents a straw yellow colour enriched with greenish reflections. On tasting, it reveals a complex and savoury structure, capable of balancing intensity and palate-cleansing freshness, offering a long and enveloping finish.

Where it comes from

The vineyards of Patrizia Cadore are located near Lake Garda, in Lombardy. The vines grow on soils composed mainly of calcareous clays, rich in mineral salts. This particular geological formation shapes the wine's profile, imparting pronounced mineral notes and a vibrant savouriness to the palate. The balance between soil and microclimate allows for grapes of excellent quality, ensuring the wine has a longevity of 3-5 years.

How it is produced

The bunches, selected through manual harvesting, are sent for white vinification. The temperature-controlled fermentation, carried out with selected yeasts, preserves the clarity of aromas of almond, citrus flowers and vanilla. Ideal to serve between 12 and 14 °C, it expresses all its harmony at the table, making it a perfect pairing for pasta dishes, shellfish, flavourful fish and cheeses.

The Patrizia Cadore Lugana Riserva 2022 represents a magnificent expression of the Lombardy region, born on the splendid shores of Lake Garda. Cadore Winery is deeply proud of its origins, which date back to the late 1800s, when the family produced Torcolato wine from Vespaiola grapes in Mason Vicentino, in the province of Vicenza.

In 1954, the Cadore family purchased vineyards in the Lugana region, in the province of Brescia, where Adriano Cadore, together with his brothers, managed the estate for many years.

Since 2010, Adriano’s niece Patrizia, supported by a highly qualified team, has been running the winery with the same passion and dedication as her uncles, producing wines of exceptional quality. In 2016, Giada—Patrizia’s daughter—joined the team and is now learning every aspect of winery management. A promise of continuity for the Cadore vineyards in the years to come.
