Description
Still white wine from Burgundy, 12.5% ABV, produced by Joseph Lafarge. 0.75 L bottle, 2022 vintage. A Macon-Lugny that embodies the tradition of Burgundy, with Chardonnay grapes grown with passion since 1727. The nose is intense and delicate, accompanied by notes of yellow flowers and subtle hints of pepper. Golden straw yellow in color with light silver reflections. On the palate, the wine is rounded, accompanied by scents of yellow flowers with notes of peach and apricot. The finish is persistent and slightly spicy.

Multiple documents testify that the locations were not replanted with woods and became a clearing on the plateau on top of Lugny. Moreover, a paper from 1778 confirms that the place does still belong to the Lugny's lords, the son of the one that sold the wood. On these records already, vines are appearing. Up to twenty-five people were counted living in the Grands Bois de Lugny. Read more
