Description

Grapevines and pomegranates have the same origins and are typical of the Mediterranean region. The pomegranate also has the same charm, beauty and intensity of the grape. The “Granato” is dedicated to this ideal blend, an especially concentrated and dense Teroldego that takes root from the stones of five different vineyards of the Campo Rotaliano.

In 1999, a new wine cellar was built, dug under the old barn and reserved exclusively for the ageing of Teroldego. The small barrels are stacked on top of each other to form pyramids and are immersed in an ideal climate thanks to the clay plaster. The wine ages in wood lying on gravel from the bed of the Noce River. The wall at the entrance to the cellar is made of large polished stones, the beauty of which attracts visitors. The combination of warm and cold, common and unusual, simple and refined, and maintaining the right balance between nature and culture are the characteristics of this place. Read more
