The historically important winery is located in the municipality Wiltingen (Saar area) in the German wine-growing area Moselle . After secularization in Napoleon Bonaparte (1769-1821) the estate was auctioned in 1797. Through marriage a part of it was in 1837 owned by Felix Müller (1810-1888). Under his son Egon Müller I. (1853-1932) it was in exclusive possession of the family, this brought the goods in the years to great success and reputation with successful participation in international exhibitions. With the 2000 vintage, the new winemaker Stefan Fobian solved the decades in successfully operating Scharzhof Horst Frank.
