Description
What kind of wine it is
Bellavista Franciacorta Alma Rosé Assemblage Extra Brut is a rosé born from a refined blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Produced according to the Traditional Method, it boasts an extremely fine perlage that enhances its antique pink colour. The bouquet is an interweaving of orange blossom, wild strawberry and candied citrus, with notes of spices and bread crust. On the palate, it offers a fresh and mineral structure, supported by lively acidity. The sip finishes with a clean and crystalline finish.
Where it comes from
This wine originates in Lombardy, among the renowned hills of Franciacorta. The grapes come from a rigorous selection of different vineyards. The rows of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay benefit from optimal microclimates and exposures, ensuring the purest expression of the varieties. This precise parcel origin gives the cuvée a distinct stylistic identity, delivering in the glass an authentic profile of its own terroir.
How it is produced
Production begins with the manual harvesting of the bunches. After gentle pressing, part of the base wines matures in barrels, acquiring complexity. The secondary fermentation in the bottle, according to the Traditional Method, is followed by ageing on the lees for about thirty months and manual riddling. The Extra Brut dosage defines a clear and vibrant character, a faithful expression of the Bellavista style.
History and Curiosities
Bellavista owes its excellence in Franciacorta to the vision of creating sparkling wines capable of competing with the great Champagnes. The refined Alma Rosé Assemblage Extra Brut is born from a rigorous manual harvest and the blending of grapes from twenty-two selected vineyards. The cuvée is enriched with reserve Chardonnay and matures on the lees for thirty months, before manual riddling. Thanks to the skilful passage in barrique and a carefully measured extra brut dosage, this label expresses absolute elegance in every glass.
