Gerard Gratiot

The Gratiot family have been wine growers for several generations; their home is to be found in the heart of the quaint village of Charly sur Marne, near Château-Thierry.
They are very attached to their ancestral roots, and with a passion for winegrowing and a love for their land, they have adopted sustainable viticulture practices to cultivate their 17 hectare vineyard, stretching down the slopes of Charly sur Marne and neighbouring villages. The key to the Gratiot know-how lies in the quality of the grapes.
The three Champenois grape varieties, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and especially Pinot Meunier from our valley are used in the elaboration of our cuvées.
Like the artist blends his hues, they blend the grapes with subtlety and feeling, to offer a range of Champagnes prepared in full respect of Champagne tradition and family know-how, with a variety of tastes and aromas to satisfy all palates.
