Description

Touraine Oisly still white, produced by Domaine des Corbillieres in the Loire Valley, France. 0.75L bottle, 2021 vintage. A Sauvignon Blanc that expresses the finesse and elegance of the Loire terroir, a wine born from a passion for viticulture and the desire to create wines that tell the story of a unique terroir. Fermentation for 4-6 weeks with indigenous yeasts. Aged on the lees until March-April. A nose of great maturity, with refined, slightly exotic aromas. Beautiful richness on the palate, a wine that captivates with its complexity and persistence.

The Domaine des Corbillieres covers 28 hectares around Oisly, known to be one of the best terroirs in Touraine; it was purchased in 1923 by Fabel Barbou, who was among the first to plant sauvignon vines in this area. After four generations, Dominique Barbou now runs the estate.

Since 2011, the estate's wines have been awarded the Touraine Oisly appellation, which covers selected wines produced in the best parcels of Sologne.
