St. Michael Eppan Riesling Montiggl 2020
A native of Germany, this grape variety yields forth the world’s most beautiful white wines and has found an ideal terroir in some parts of South Tyrol. Riesling demands a lot from a vineyard and prefers a cool yet very sunny climate. That is exactly what Montiggl offers. The local profiric soils give the wine its backbone. Fruity notes and mineral freshness make Montiggl Riesling truly captivating. This elegant wine is enjoying more and more popularity.

Colour

Yellow-green.

Bouquet

Intense aromas of white peach and apricot.

Flavour

Elegant, balanced, mineral.

Pairing

It is a true all-rounder that goes just as well with light fish dishes as with Asian cuisine and vegetable recipes. In Spring, we recommend it with asparagus salad and dishes with Tyrolean 'Easter' ham and Bolzano sauce. It is also a pleasure in combination with goat's cheese.
