Generally it has pleasant fruity notes of apple and floral jasmine, often it has a characteristic background of fine minerality.
Flavour
On the palate the Greco is a wine with good structure and fine texture of freshness and flavor, floral notes of hawthorn and fruity notes of almonds, honey and apples. Good persistence with hints of citrus and minerals in the end.
This wine pairs with all dishes based on fish, seafood and shellfish. Also ideal with risotto and fresh and soft cheese, with all meat except venison.
