Charmat Method Sparkling Wines
Levii Trento Riserva Brut 2015
A Classic Mehod wine from the Trentino mountains made from Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes, aged on the lees for at least 60 months.

Perlage

Dense, creamy, fine and persistent.

Colour

Bright, refined straw yellow.

Bouquet

As inviting as it is intense, its olfactory framework is rich and complex in mineral sensations of stone and fresh hazelnuts. Rhythmic and clean notes of slightly candied citrus, dried fruit peel and dehydrated apricot follow. Finally, it indulges in background sensations of bread crust and ginger that give it great finesse.

Flavour

Elegant and structured on the palate, with a freshness always in evidence, contrasting in an optimal balance with its tactile sensations such as creaminess and softness. A rich and coherent drinkability in its taste/olfactory phases makes each sip satisfying and persistent. The taste component of the pinot noir caresses the palate and confers the right amount of vigour and intensity to reach that fine and balanced tasty finish.

Pairing

It pairs well with codfish dishes, trout fillet on almond veloute, and roast octopus on creamed potatoes. Moreover, it pairs with sea bass or gilthead bream and steamed lobster with citrus sauce. Excellent as a wine to be enjoyed by itself.
