Property professionals like to say that only location matters in determining the value of a property. It's the same with wine, where it comes from is fundamental.
Today, as a winemaker, I have the immense good fortune to work with exceptional origins. I'd like to thank the winegrowers who preceded me in these vineyards for having pampered them for decades, and they're grateful to me today.
My job is to bring out the purest expression of each origin, without sugar-coating, while respecting the qualities and limits of each vintage.
It's hard, rigorous and complex work, but the pleasure of working in such magnificent surroundings is immense.
