Areas of cultivation It is present almost exclusively in France, in the Champagne region. It is also cultivated in Germany, where it is called Müllerrebe or Schwarzriesling. It is also found in Austria, Switzerland, California and Austrialia. In Italy it is part of the varietal composition for sparkling Trento DOC.
History It has its name (meunier = miller) that its grain-rich grains (a thin layer of wax which clings to some vegetable organisms and makes them waterproof) seem as if they were floured.

In the first case it provides a white wine with slight yellowish nuances, very pleasing to the taste slightly fruity, acidic, discreet body, just alcoholic, slightly bitter taste and velvety taste.
