History |
The Prié blanc grape variety is a native of Valdosta, whose origins are still uncertain. It could come from the Savoy or Valais area, but in any case its presence in the land given for a very long time, and it is here that the vine has undergone the genetic mutations that have led to the assumption of the present characteristics. The first documented records date back to 1838. |

Leaf: medium, pentagonal, trilobated, slightly bulging surface, upper and lower glabrous, medium green color and opaque gloss, with regular and rounded teeth, petiole breast V.
Bunch: medium or small, short and pyramidal, rather compact, medium-sized herbaceous peduncle.
Acino: medium, of ovoid shape, with prominent and persistent navel, pruinose, thin, tender, yellow-green; Lime floss of neutral flavor. |
Characteristics of the wine obtained from this grape variety |
The wine obtained from the pré blanc grape is of straw yellow color with greenish reflections. On the palate it is fresh, fruity, herbaceous. |
