The grapes come from vineyards located in Località Fracia in the DOCG Valgella (from the Latin vallicula and vallicella) sub-area, in the municipality of Teglio, situated on terraces supported by dry stone walls on the steep slopes of the Rhaetian Alps, along the right bank of the River Adda.

Colour

Bright garnet red.

Bouquet

Intense bouquet with hints of dried flowers (violets and dog rose) and spices, with notes of blackberry jam.

Flavour

Dry, warm and tangy flavour, with elegant sensations of plums and bitter almonds that pleasantly linger.

Pairing

Fine poultry, lamb, kid goat, grilled meat and mature cheeses.

Ageing New wine remains in steel tanks for 2 months, followed by 18 months in Slavonian oak barrels with a capacity of 80hl. Then it is refined in the bottle for an appropriate period before being sold on the market.
