Massolino Langhe Riesling 2022

This Riesling is produced in the highest vineyard of the company estate, in Monforte d'Alba, at about 600 metres above sea level, where the climatic conditions are excellent for the freshness and acidity that make this variety one of the most renowned in the world, as well as a great passion for this grape variety! A dry white of great pleasantness that meets the strength and structure given by the Langa hills. Intense and versatile when young, it is undoubtedly suitable for long ageing.

Medium straw yellow.

Bouquet

It expresses the typical hydrocarbon and mineral scents, with fresh fruit notes in its youth.

Flavour

Vertical and tasty, the typically marked acidity of the variety stands out and provides freshness and endless persistence.

Pairing

Excellent with fish dishes, especially shellfish, and great to pair with white meat and goat cheeses.

I always use Xtrawine and the service is always good There appears to have been a change this time around with the wine sent direct from Italy. Previously orders on the .co.uk site came from London so arrived much quicker. This means delivery takes a bit longer although the packaging was much better than before.
