Bouquet

Elegant, with delicate aromas of white flowers, ripe yellow fruit and notes of cardamom and honey.

Flavour

The pulp of white peach, toasted hazelnut and hints of spice are evident. It is an opulent wine, complex but at the same time perfectly balanced. Excellent structure and softness, integrated with a taste texture of great intensity.

Pairing

Ideal as an apéritif, with foie gras, aged cheeses and desserts with exotic fruits. Perfect with spicy, sweet, and sour dishes of Thai, Chinese, and Indian cuisine.

I always use Xtrawine and the service is always good There appears to have been a change this time around with the wine sent direct from Italy. Previously orders on the .co.uk site came from London so arrived much quicker. This means delivery takes a bit longer although the packaging was much better than before.
