On the nose it is intense and complex, of fine quality. Bouquet of prunes in syrup and French Guiana pepper. Thin toasted hints.

Flavour

In the mouth it is fresh and sapid and with an excellent persistence. Tannic and soft, overall it is balanced and harmonious. Wine of exceptional elegance.

I always use Xtrawine and the service is always good There appears to have been a change this time around with the wine sent direct from Italy. Previously orders on the .co.uk site came from London so arrived much quicker. This means delivery takes a bit longer although the packaging was much better than before.
