Matusalem

Matusalem was born in 1872 in Santiago de Cuba. It was one of the symbols of Cuban splendour during the prohibition period, when Americans were attracted by the island's charm and the shows and parties that took place every night.

Its name, named after the biblical character 'Methuselah' who lived for 969 years, recounts the longevity of Matusalem Rum, which uses a system based on ageing its blends of rum to ensure consistent quality over time, thanks also to the Solera method.
