Description
Cerasuolo di Vittoria is a red wine with a strong and ancient tradition, which plays its identity on the combination of the strength of Nero d'Avola and the kindness of Frappato. It is a grape variety widespread mainly in the appellation area, the first and currently the only Sicilian DOCG.

Wine making | Nero d’Avola grapes are harvested at the end of September, and the Frappato during the first week of October. They start fermentation separately, with a short maceration on their skins at a controlled temperature. They are mixed at the end of the alcoholic fermentation. |
Aging | About 7 months on their yeast in stainless steel tanks. It then ages in the bottle for one or two months. It is finally marketed in June of the year following the harvest. |
