Sandeman Porto Late Bottled Vintage is the result of a careful selection and blending of high quality wines from the harvest. Aged approximately four years, it has been bottled without being filtered, maintaining the characteristics of a single vintage wine.

Intense ruby red.

香氣/花束

Intense and complex aroma, with notes of black fruits such as plum and blackcurrant, shrubs and spices such as ginger and nutmeg, truffle balsam and undergrowth, as well as a slight hint of cocoa and chocolate, the result of excellent maturation.

味道

On the palate it has excellent volume, with lively acidity, firm, well-presented tannins, black fruits and cocoa, and a very balanced finish.

Pairing

Ideal with cheese and rich chocolate desserts, fresh fruit and red fruit or berry cakes.

釀造 The grapes were selected in Quinta do Seixo and Quinta do Vau and also from a number of winemakers who have been working with us for years. Vinification was carried out in Quinta do Seixo, using the traditional Port method, with pressing in granite crushers at a controlled temperature, to extract the compounds that give the wine its characteristic colour, aroma and flavour.
陳年 After harvesting, the wine remains in the Douro region. It is transported to Vila Nova de Gaia the following Spring for the traditional ageing process in oak vats. During this period it undergoes frequent racking, analysis and tasting to monitor its evolution. The final blend is the result of a selection of wines with the typical characteristics of Sandeman L.B.V.
