The ancient writer Plinio in his piece Naturalis Historia, mentioned the qualities of a full-bodied red wine produced on the Adriatic Coast, near Ancona. Nowadays, these characteristics still belong to the Rosso Conero.

Accompanying all the pasta with meat sauce and hunting sauces. Excellent also on sheepmeat, pork, young cows and semi-mature cheeses. Try the combination with vincisgrassi, one of the gastronomic emblems of the region.
