Austerity and refinement of aromas, tactile strength, density of flavour and potential ageing. This is the meaning of a Riserva: it is the wine that, stored in a suitable cellar, can accompany us for a generation.

香氣/花束

A broad but reserved bouquet in which the fresh plum fruit is accompanied by floral tones of violet, fern, bark and humus, and iodine in the background.

味道

Compact, manifesting the strength of the grape variety. The overall sense is a wine with full-bodied structure, class and charisma; it closes with mineral references.

Pairing

Not just the 'usual' Fiorentina t-bone steak or pork rotisserie. This Riserva has energy and intensity to pair with lamb, pigeon, braised meats and stews magnificently. Moreover, it pairs well with the aromatic vehemence of truffles.
