Greywacke Sauvignon Wild 2021

Imagine fried almond, blood orange and melon; a hint of linseed, tarragon and lightly smoked tea. This is an alternative style that is both intricate and textural, a delicious blend created by fermenting sauvignon blanc with indigenous yeasts.

Bright, straw yellow.

Notes of aromatic pastry - brioche, apricot jam and lemon curd, layers of nectarine, yellow peach and ripe pineapple - infused with herbaceous nuances of tarragon and thyme.

Location	Marlborough.
土地的組成	Soil types vary from the young alluvial deposits of Rapaura and Renwick, which contain high percentages of grey river stones, to the older, denser clays of the southern valleys.
收成	By machine and by hand, all in 500-quintal drums, which are tipped directly into tank presses. The grapes are lightly crushed and the juice obtained is chilled before being racked into mostly old French oak barrels.
釀造	The must underwent spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts, which continued for well over 6 months. The wine had occasional lees stirring, and about 2/3 underwent malolactic fermentation.
陳年	It was transferred out of oak prior to the following harvest and left on yeast lees for a further 6 months.
