歷史 Carmignano is one of smallest and oldest appellations of the world ("Bando" of Grand Duke Cosimo III de' Medici issued in 1716). Carmignano Riserva "Montalbiolo" is based mostly on Sangiovese with a small quantity of Canaiolo and Uva Francesca (Cabernet).
