Delea Merlot Ticino Carato 2018
Carato is made from the best selection of Merlot grapes from vines over 40 years old. The grapes are cultivated on the hills above Locarno, where they are exposed to the sun during the day and the cool breeze at night: ideal conditions for perfect ripening. Carato rests for about two years in French oak barriques, known in Italian as "Carati". A wine of great structure that fully reflects the terroir that generated it, with an intense and spicy character of great aromatic finesse and elegance.
