歷史 |
The Albarossa grape was obtained in 1938 by Giovanni Dalmasso crossing Nebbiolo and Barbera, in an attempt to blend in one variety the characteristics and qualities of the two main Piedmontese vines. The vine is also known as the Dalmasso Crossing XV / 31. In fact, DNA surveys carried out a few years ago revealed that the real "father" of Albarossa is not the famous and noble Nebbiolo, but the lesser known Chatus (also known as Nebbiolo di Dronero), an autochthonous alpine vine. |

特色酒 |
Wines of loaded colors, blurred on purple, with complex olfactory ranges and ample thanks to the concentrations of natural polyphenols, without disturbing the palate with excessive astringency, keeping it soft and silky despite good acidity. They are wines with great alcohol strength, with intense scents like fruity and floral and very generous touches of sweet spices like tobacco. The mouth is warm, of good structure and has a good dose of glycerin. The solid body and refined tannins embroider a very long and felt closing. |
筆記 |
The possible combinations are many, and of great value, as the wine manages to accompany the game as much as the stews and the braised ones. But some wines may also suggest pasta dishes with provola, or truffle. |
