Vintage 2009 was characterised by a seasonal regularity and fresh climate until the beginning of Summer. August and September were hot months. This favoured the late-harvest varietals like Aglianico, that reached a gradual and very good ripening resulting in top level wines distinguished for their elegance and aromatic complexity.
