Tempa di Zoe Asterias Fiano 2016

The sea gives the grapes character and minerality, the sun gives them sweet and citrus scents. Asterias is a long-lived wine, which if well preserved, can have a great evolution over time. White fermented in wood, it accompanies dishes of the great seafood cuisine, medium-matured cheeses and white meats.

Colour

Straw yellow with green gold reflections.

Bouquet

The aroma is articulated with sensations of mown grass, smith apple, abbot pear, white mulberry, wisteria, hawthorn, white pepper, basil, mint, candied citron peel, vanilla tolls and fresh almonds.

Flavour

A full-bodied sip, characterized by a good sapid vein, moderate freshness and citrus and vegetable persistence.

Pairing

It pairs excellently with baked fish or salt crusted fish. Ideal with both first dishes or second courses but also with fresh cheeses.

From this winery:

When they are close friends in a winery, successful success becomes certain if they have the means, wine culture and vineyards sought by their side. This is the case of the Tempa di Zoè project which involves the well-known Feudi cellars of San Grego...
