The Panzanello Chianti Classico Riserva is made from a majority of Sangiovese with a percentage of Cabernet. It is a vigorous, intense wine which, in time, can acquire balance and a firm texture.

Vinification Harvesting is done by hand and this wine comes from the selection of two of the company's vineyards which, after soft destemming, undergo maceration for 18-20 days in steel vats.
Ageing 60% of the wine is transferred into second-passage French oak barriques where it remains for 18 months and 40% in steel vats. The Riserva is refined in the bottle for 12 months and is not filtered so as to preserve its aromas, perfumes and structure.
