La Crotta de Vegneron Extra Brut 4478 Noble Effervescence Quatremillemètres
This is a sparkling wine made with 100% Pinot Noir grapes coming from one single vineyard in the Municipality of Saint Denis at 800 MASL. The altitude and the south-westward exposure give rise to grapes with a perfect acidic balance. The copper hue comes from the brief contact with the skins during déléstage static draining. The free-run must is then made into wine in steel at low temperature. The prise de mousse is obtained by the classic method, resting on lees for a minimum of 24 months.
