This wine comes, only in particular vintages, from a selection from a single Carmenere vineyard located in San Germano dei Berici (Vicenza). The area can be considered the best area for Carmenere grapes in Italy and worldwide.

Colour

Dark ruby.

Bouquet

Quite intense with delicate perceptions of cassis, dried grass, cranberry juice, wooded berries and mountain pine needles, followed by black pepper, cumin and notes of tar.

Flavour

Superb and elegant, with an excellent balance of components. It envelops the palate in a dense tannic velvety structure. Long spicy and fruity persistence with a tasty note.

Pairing

It pairs well with grilled or smoked pork, boiled meat, pasta and beans.

Climate	The microclimate in this area is unique. In fact, the vineyard is positively affected by the influence of the surrounding forest, which, in addition to providing silt-clay nutrients, gives rise to significant changes in temperature. The area is often very hot during the day and very cool in the evenings.
Yield per hectare	4,000 kg/hectare.
Vinification	Selection, only in the best vintages, of the best Carmenere grapes from the company's vineyard.
Ageing	18 months in new and used barriques.
