History |
After a few years of experimentation on the vines to achieve a high-quality wine with the 2012 vintage, this Rosso di Montalcino was born, which complements the production of the other two estate wines: Brunello Pian delle Vigne and Riserva Vignaferrovia. The Pian delle Vigne estate is located 6 km south of Montalcino, above the Val d'Orcia and takes its name from a characteristic 19th-century railway station located within the estate. The estate consists of about 184 hectares, of which about 65 are planted with vines. |
