Purchased in 1935 by Ernest Sauvion, the Château du Cléry-Sauvion is one of the oldest in the Loire, with 95 hectares of property forming a breathtaking panorama, dominated by the château itself, which is an architectural gem with its characteristic vaulted cellars. The soils here are rich in minerals, particularly silicon, along with clay, a combination that becomes the perfect basis for the birth of some of the most pleasant and refined white wines in the entire appellation.
