It was 1919 when Carlo Nada founded the company in the Rombone locality, followed in the work by his nephew Gian Carlo who, in the 1980s, together with his wife Ada, resumed the company's innovative path. So the initial 3 hectares became 10, the Valeirano Cru was added to the Rombone vineyard, Barbera and Dolcetto also gained space, although Barbaresco continues to make up half of the entire production. In recent times, under the guidance of Anna Lisa Nada and her husband Elvio, Sauvignon and Merlot have become part of the estate's vineyard heritage. Lire la suite

Harvest | The grape harvest begins in the second or third ten-day period of the month of October. The hand-picked grapes are placed in ventilated crates, pressed, de-stemmed and then placed in the fermentation vats. |
Wine making | The entire vinification process takes place in these stainless steel vats, and pressings are carried out at regular intervals. Maceration is carried out for around 10 days at a controlled temperature. A very gentle pressing follows, then the wine is transferred into steel vats to complete the alcoholic fermentation process and undergo malolactic fermentation. |
Aging | It is then decanted into large oak casks, where it is aged for 18-20 months. After being bottled (without any filtration treatment), the wine is bottle-aged for at least 6-8 months before being put on the market. |
