The breadth and variety of exposure of its vineyards, therefore, guarantee the possibility of selecting, depending on the vintage, the best grapes to produce high-quality wines.
Prugnolo Gentile, the grape variety at the basis of Nobile di Montepulciano DOCG, is a typical Sangiovese of the area that has adapted to the soil and climate over the centuries. Vino Nobile is produced in three versions: Vino Nobile di Montepulciano DOCG, Vino Nobile di Montepulciano Riserva and the Vino Nobile di Montepulciano "Antica Chiusina" selection. In addition to these wines, the estate also produces Chianti Colli Senesi DOCG, Rosso di Montepulciano DOC, 'Manero' Rosso di Toscana IGT, and 'Sangallo' Vinsanto di Montepulciano DOC. Read more

Wine making | Pian di Seta Vermentino grapes come from vineyards selected for its soil and micro-climate, the grapes are manually harvested, destemmed, softly pressed and kept at a temperature of about 10 °C where a short firm maceration takes place; the must is than transferred into stainless steel tanks where it starts the alcoholic fermentation at a temperature between 12 °C and 14 °C. |
