Description
The Geografico estate near San Gimignano is located at the foot of the hill overlooking the famous turreted city, halfway between Siena and Florence. Here an association of 30 local winegrowers works to take care of the conditions of the Sangiovese and Vernaccia vineyards. Geografico's team of oenologists select and vinify the best grapes to make our premium line Borgo alla Terra, an expression of a cultural heritage that fills the Piccini family with pride.

It was here more than half a century ago that the story of Geografico was born. Today, it continues its journey thanks to the passion for the terroir of the Piccini family, who bought it to carry on its memory. From those initial 17 vine growers, today, the company can count 80 members, all mainly rooted in the regions of Chianti and Chianti Classico but also Vernaccia di San Gimignano. 80 passionate winegrowers who work every day to enhance a great appellation and its wines, starting with its main grape variety: the Sangiovese.
