Description

Still red wine from Valpolicella, 15% ABV, produced by Tedeschi. Blend: 40% Corvina, 40% Corvinone, 20% Rondinella. 0.75 L bottle, 2020 vintage. A Valpolicella Superiore that expresses the excellence of the Veronese terroir, with meticulous vinification and aging that enhances its complexity. Located in Pedemonte, the winery is run by Renzo Tedeschi and his children Antonietta, Sabrina, and Riccardo, who continue the work of interpreting and enhancing the terroir begun by their ancestors. Harvest: mid-October. Alcoholic fermentation and maceration: 20 days/temperature 20-23°C. Aged: 14 months in Slavonian oak barrels (20-25 hl). Bottle: 6 months. Very pronounced fruit. Notes of red currant, black cherry, cherry, and plum, which give the wine freshness, blend with mineral, ethereal, spicy, and vanilla notes. The structure is rich, fresh, and balanced. The concentration of the extract is significant and well-balanced by a strong tannic structure, lively acidity, and an alcohol content that ensure long aging potential.
