Description
Still red Primitivo di Manduria Riserva, 15% ABV, produced by Produttori di Manduria, a historic cooperative since 1932. 100% Primitivo, 0.75 L bottle, 2021 vintage. A wine that tells the story of a territory and a passion, with selected grapes aged for 12 months in French oak barriques. Elegant nose, with a bold fruity component based on wild blackberries, dried plums, raspberry jam, and blueberries. Nutmeg, vanilla, and cloves anticipate notes of aromatic herbs and leather. Hints of toasted almond and dried violet petals complement hints of undergrowth. Intense ruby red. Bright acidity and dry tannins accompany it all the way through, giving it a perfect finish. Persistent.
