Description
Blanc de Noirs Champagne, 12% ABV, produced by Horiot Olivier et Serge in the Champagne region. 2017 vintage, 0.75L bottle. A unique expression of Pinot Noir, vinified as a white wine to enhance the purity of the fruit. Olivier Horiot's wines are linked to the village of Les Riceys, which over the centuries has been part of Burgundy and Champagne. On the nose, aromas of ripe fruit anticipate a richly nuanced palate. Straw yellow in the glass. On the palate, the wine is fresh, ample, and silky, with a fine perlage that invites you to savor it.

The most interesting Rosé des Riceys and Coteaux-Champenois (unfiltered), vinified by lieu-dit, can be found at this committed artisan's winery: they have the lively vegetal flavour and aromatic finesse of northern Pinot Noirs, which were once widely produced in the region. These are original and instructive cuvées, as is the small range of champagnes (Sève) typified by the generosity of this Aube monocru. Read more
