Since 1993, the year in which Ferruccio Ferragamo bought the Il Borro estate, the medieval village has undergone a massive renovation to enhance its historical value. Special attention was paid to the redevelopment of the land, replanting the vineyards and tending the centuries-old olive trees.
Today, the estate is managed by two of his children: Salvatore, CEO, and Vittoria, in charge of special projects. Today it is a state-of-the-art farm, totally organic and eco-sustainable since 2015, whose pride lies in its 85 hectares of vineyards and 29 hectares of olive groves. The rest is divided into 272 hectares of forage and farmland, plus 3 hectares reserved for agriculture.
Authenticity, respect for the environment, culture and appreciation of local excellence are the cornerstones of the sustainable philosophy that guides every choice within the estate. Read more
