Description

What type of wine is it

The Soave Classico Foscarino by Domìni Veneti is a still white wine from Veneto with a crystalline profile. Obtained from a careful blend of Garganega and Trebbiano grapes, it expresses a harmonious and well-defined medium-bodied structure. The olfactory bouquet is elegant, characterised by notes of peach, almond and elderflower. On the palate, it reveals a vibrant freshness and a marked minerality, supported by a lively acidity that accompanies the drink towards a persistent finish. It pairs ideally with starters and light fish-based dishes.

Where it comes from

This wine originates on Mount Foscarino, a renowned cru located in the historical Soave Classico area in Veneto. The nature of the volcanic soils shapes the organoleptic profile, giving the drink a pronounced saltiness. This geological peculiarity allows for a precise and taut sensory profile, which enhances the purity of the grape varieties used. The character of the terrain ensures great finesse and a solid gustatory balance, maintaining a harmonious and strongly identity-driven drink, indissolubly linked to these renowned hills.

How it is produced

Its structure allows for an interesting ageing potential, capable of extending up to twenty-four months. Thanks to this evolution over time, the aromatic profile acquires greater complexity, revealing evolved nuances while keeping the typical crystalline freshness and characteristic savoury mark intact.

We are professional and winegrowers working togheter with a wholehearted cooperative spirit, for the good of our winegrowing region: Valpolicella, more specifically, Valpolicella Classica, the homeland of Amarone. We are the young people of today and of yesterday, united by a great sense of responsibility for our people and for the environment in which we work. Producers, aware and responsible for the wines we love.

The spirit is the same as that of the visionary cooperative founded in 1933 by the seven businessmen from Verona, just as the very same principles guide our work on a daily basis today and inspire every new project: initiative, reciprocity and collaboration.

Generations that work side by side: this is the strength of Cantina Valpolicella Negrar. It is the same strength that has enabled us to stride through history and become the benchmark producer when it comes to Amarone, Ripasso and the technique of Appassimento.

Energy and creativity on the one hand; on the other, the wisdom that comes from the experience of many vintages, leading to a generational renewal that takes place while we work together.
