Still red wine from Veneto, 13.5% ABV, produced by Bertani. Blend: 70% Corvina, 20% Corvinone, 10% Rondinella. 0.75L bottle, 2021 vintage. A Valpolicella Ripasso Classico Superiore Catullo made from the second fermentation, or ripasso, on the skins of Amarone Classico. Aged in French oak barrels for 12 months, plus an additional year in concrete tanks. Medium-bodied wine with delicate spicy notes of vanilla and chocolate, accompanied by typical notes of cherry, black cherry, and white pepper. On the palate, it is characterized by the easy drinkability typical of Valpolicella, combined with a silky tannic structure and an intense, lingering aromatic persistence.

Taste

The palate is characterised by an easy drinkability, typical of Vapolicella, and at the same time by a silky tannic structure and an intense and prolonged aromatic persistence. The finish is fresh, soft and savoury. A classic style wine, elegant, balanced, harmonious.
