Perseval Gerard

For several generations the Perseval family has its own vineyards, about 20ha in total in the commune of Chamery, Premier Cru of the Montagne de Reims.

Gérard is the head of the family and, together with his wife Marie-Thérèse, is always active in the production of Champagne, although in fact they could both make life as pensioners, and instead continue to devote themselves to the vineyards and the cellar keeping for themselves those few hectares for their 20,000 bottles.

Respect for nature is one of their principles: no herbicides and grassing of the vineyards since 1980. The treatments are made with natural products.

Classic champenoise press, fermentation of the grapes partly in steel and partly in barrels, assemblages made to reflect the company's soul and long refinements in the bottle: these are the main characteristics of Gérard Perseval, a small gem of great quality.
